After School Enrichment
Attention Parents! Help your child advance his or her test scores and achieve academic advancement and excellence by enrolling today in The Maritime Academy's exciting enrichment program. The Program operates throughout the school year and follows the same schedule regarding school closings. The program is also closed the day before holidays and on Saturdays of long holiday weekends-- when school is not in session on a Monday or Friday.
21st Century Enrichment Program is offered to students in Grades 5-8 and 9-12 Monday through Thursday After School and on Saturdays.
After School Enrichment is offered every Monday through Thursday from 3:00 - 5: 00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9 to Noon. .
Maritime students are encouraged to enroll in the Program to advance their academic studies while experiencing an enriched curriculum focused on nautical and maritime skills. The program relates nautical and maritime skills to their everyday lives and school experiences and give students opportunities of a life time -- on the water and in the classroom.
Enroll today by completing an enrollment packet for your child. Participation is limited to 40 students per program.
Sailinig Into The Future (Grades 5-8) engages students and thier parents/guardians in reading and math and involves students in exciting nautical/maritime activities both on the water and in the classroom. Charting A Course For The Future (Grades 9-12) also provides students and parents with reading and math enrichment activities and nautical/marine experiences both on the water and in the classroom.
