General Studies Graduation/Degree Requirements

The following courses are required for graduation:

• Language Arts: 4 credits Major concentration in composition and literature.
• Mathematics: 3 credits Algebra I, II, Geometry and higher level Math course
• Science: 3 credits Biology, Earth / Physical Science, and one science elective:  Environmental Science or Atmospheric Chemistry or any other.   
• Social Studies: 3 credits World, Ohio, American History, and/or Government
• Foreign Language: (for General Diploma) 2 credits or Second language demonstrated proficiency.
• Performing Arts: 1/2 credit Steel Drums, Music, Chorus
• Fine Arts: 1/2 credit Performing Arts, Fine Arts, and/or Computer Graphics.
• Physical Education: ½ credit Swimming, Karate, Aerobics
• Health: ½ credit
• Introduction to Maritime Studies: 1 credit 
• Electives: (5 credits) Leadership, Sea Scouts, Shipbuilding,  Navigation Simulation, Nautical Mathematics

Maritime Studies Graduation/Degree Requirements

The following courses are required for graduation:
