Strawberry Quick

There is a very scary thing going on in the schools right now that we all need to be aware of.  There is a type of crystal methamphetamine (crystal meth) going around that looks like strawberry pop rocks (the candy that sizzles and “pops” in your mouth).  It can also smell like strawberry and the word on the street is that kids are handing it out in their various schools.  Maritime has not yet experienced it in our cadets' hands but we must all be alert to the problem.  Kids are ingesting this thinking that it is candy and being rushed off to the hospital in dire condition.  It also comes in chocolate, peanut butter, cherry cola, grape, and orange flavors. 

Please instruct your cadet not to accept any candy from strangers or even a friend, as the candy may be tainted.
