Maritime Academy Uniform
The Maritime Academy of Toledo focuses on the academic needs of each cadet. Supporting and challenging each students to grow and learn to their maximum potential. Self-regulation is a key factor in supporting and challenging our Cadets to achieve their full potential. This means cadets are responsible at all times for their learning and their behavior as well as for their personal appearance which demands that each cadet wear the school uniform with pride -- cleanly and neatly at all times.

About Us
The Maritime Academy of Toledo is a Grade 5 -12 High School Diploma-based public school that supports students’ interests, strengths, and emerging academic needs using individualized and small group instruction, hands-on learning, life-based experiences, and self-regulated performance.
Academic goals are accomplished by integrating nautical and marine themes into the traditional subjects of language arts, reading, math, social studies, and science as well as electives which include art, music, drumms, physical education, physical training, swimming, life-saving, water rescue by boat, psychology, career and college exploration, and foreign languages. Developmental goals across the domains of affective, social, creative, cognitive, language, and physical development are also supported in each student using the Marazon Approach and the Marazon System Database. Each week teachers and students select developmental domains and objective to learn about and support with an emphasis on supporting development as well as academic success.
